Front Bumper Question

I'm going to be getting a new front bumper and would like to know...

Also. are all EG bumpers da same?

Sorry for all the questions lately but Projeckt ICE is going to be big and im trying to do everything right.

- Mon Feb 02, 2009 1:36 pm #93771 most ppl shave the bumber moldings off and just paint it again and it usually looks really good and yeah you need the intercooler to show so the wind can travel through it unlesws you put a leaf blower in the idk


and as far as bumbers i think oem with lip on it looks the best


there is also the crows foot bumber or w.e

but it up to you.... do what you think looks best

I just don't want my intercooler to show, like im not cuttin off the front grill of my bumper

- Thu Feb 05, 2009 5:26 pm #94393 Well if anything just slightly trim that grill area to fit a slim intercooler or you could use a side mount exspecially if your running a small turbo you dont really need a gigantic intercooler......

And definately to go stealth paint flat black

The coupe and the hatch bumpers are the same.. it's the 4 door that is different and even then I've heard of people putting the coupe bumper on a 4 door with only slight modifications

- Thu Feb 05, 2009 6:23 pm #94400 If you don't plan on showing off your intercooler do what teal said and paint it black. When I was planning on going turbo I was going to get the intercooler off a friend and it fit right behind the grill and I was just going to paint it black so no one would know. So, it really depends on what size intercooler/piping you get whether you will have a lot to cut or non. The one I was going to get was a greddy intercooler and it fit right inside the bumper.
