#88007 i got a high idle checked timing and its right now, checked vacuum lines nothing there unless i have a line in a wrong position anyone have a diagram for vacuum lines? i think it may also be which ill have to check when i get home is idle control valve may be dirty or leak but i think if it had a leak coolent would leak. but confused one the no bottom end, checked the plugs to see if there faulled but were fine. changed fuel filter, air filter, still no bottom end power but once rpms rise got tons of power. put 91 octane thinking fuel was bad in the tank since car sat for about 6-7 weeks at 1/4 tanks. still no power. any other thoughts?

#88115 Sounds like a V-tec thing. I don't have a V-tec motor so I can't say for sure. It sounds like its always on and not returning to its low rpm mode. I could be totaly wrong, but if I am, I'm sure It will get every one fired up and they will correct me soon. With that in mind "I'm 100% sure it's your left turn signal bulb!" :thumb:

#92829 Im gonna go with a vaccum leak, manifold gaskets tb gasket. make sure all your vaccum lines are attached on the mani and hooked up at their destination not just a loose line laying where you can only see one end. check your wiring diagram to see if you have the map and tps hooked up properly they use the same style connector and ive been caught with them bakwards more than once.

#93217 tried map sensor and tps plugs backwards, thats not it but i did discover when i did that car ran like crap. but i did not get a check engine light. and theres also 2 plugs on the intake manifold air temp and purge cut solenoid and that didnt give me a check engine light. so my question is does that jumper have to be jumped for me to get a check engine light?

#93232 This is a common problems on our older hondas. In the IACV a little plastic ring backs out over time. I had the exact same problem with my D16z6. Fixed the IACV and BAM! no more problems. I am surprised this was not brought up eariler.

#93964 My question to you is did you even take the old one off and check it using his DIY before jumping conclusions and buying a new one? seems like a simple fix, spending little to no cash.
