And all the things that go with that. Injectors, fuel management, one-piece front end, roll cage, etc etc.

Do you have money or are you going to come up with a more realistic goal?

- Sun Jun 15, 2008 5:03 pm #58610 Actually I helped build a 9 second Civic EG with a H22. It blew up due to the engine assembler being an asshat. My homeboy needs 6 grand to put it back together and run low 9's.

People that are capable of such a goal usually know how to get there or know who to pay in order to get there. They already have a 12 second car. They've already blown a dozen motors. They don't spend any time on the internet.

- Sat Feb 28, 2009 7:18 am #99453 Making a car go fast is easy. Getting traction, especially with out breaking anything is hard.

As suspended hatch said, Put in a Big Turbo, get it tuned. Make big HP. Get some slicks and a Traction bar to try to stick the power to the Drag strip.

Do this and you will make decent times. How much you get out of it depends on what you put into it.

- Sat Feb 28, 2009 12:46 pm #99465 i know the dream but its a lot of money fo that kinda thing. strip it down to bear bone anythign un nessasery take it out coilover set up will help put power down, 14x7 ect wheels with slick put power down, forged internals big ass turbo with some anti lag and launch control but this will nto amke the car fun to drive on daily never mind blowing up parts here there and every were if u got enough cash then dot it :)

- Sun Mar 01, 2009 1:41 pm #99630 why would you want a 10 sec daily driver ,it takes the fun out of it,i mean its not like you can race down the street,unless you dont have any regards for human life,if anything turbo it,that way you can turn the boost up at the track,and turn it down for the street,ive got a b18c1 in my hatch and its plenty for the street,of course i dont try and race every tom dick harry and jane,that i see anyway,thats my opinion anyways
