grabbed it off a 92 si. had over 300,000K
if i replace it what will happen?
cause my car still runs good when its bumped
or is it not getting the spark from turning over staying still?
please get back to me and i will pull one tomorrow

yea chances could be that the distributor just isnt creating enough spark under the rotational speed of cranking the engine over. and bumping it forces the issue. i would say a dizzy with over 300k might be the problem.

probably the whole unit sense the coil inside is probably on its way out, if the cap and rotor were bad the engine would run rough.

thank you everyone for the advice!!!
went to the yard and pulled off a dizzy went back to put it on and when i looked at my old one the rotor was toast!!
bought a new cap and rotor for mine and it fired right up!!!
anyways i took it for a spin runs pretty good
still have a problem though?
when i stomp on it it will still sputter, like its miss-firing
could i have bad timing? or what?

could be due to getting flooded out, if the plugs are shot, or if the wires have alot of resistance.
