#152825 Whatever works to get your heart rate up. My jump rope broke, I need a new one. I was jump roping for 10-15 mins Pre-weight training to get and keep my heart rate pumpin.

#153320 wooo weee..Just got back from working out. I almost wasn't feeling good enough to go in there this morning but I didn't get yesterday morning so I needed to go this morning. It was nice..yet again the only one in there. Love it! :lol:

I increased my speed on the treadmill and did a little jogging. Haven't ran on a treadmill in a LONG time so gotta take baby steps to get use to it again lol. But I did do a little jogging. :woot: Did that for 30 minutes.

Went onto the weights and did every weight exercise except one which is like bicep curls.. :? Did about 20 of each station..from like 40-80 pound weights..Gotta get up to where I was benching it 100 back in high school. Arms are weak now :thumbdown: But in time they'll be back to strong :lol:

Anyway, tummy is growling..pb&j is calling my name..peace

I picked me up some 100%whey Protein (strawberry flavor) on saturday.
I'm back in full effect as of yesterday. LIfted for about 45 mins last night.

going to lift when I get home and then go for a shortish jog. Then hitting the Grocery store.... Need me some foooood... some things on my list are:
Albacore tuna (more protein than the chunk light tuna)
Chicken breasts (Lots)
Fruits and Veggies
Steak
Halibut
Tilapia
Silk (soy milk- I'm lactose intollerant)


and more but those are the basics.

#155304 So I'm seein a noticeable difference now that i'm lifting more often and taking the creatine, whey protein, BCAA's and a multi-vitamin.


I hear though once you stop taking the creatine.. you'll notice more of a gain. :? we'll see I'm almost out and wont be picking up any more. Im sticking with just the whey protein, BCAA's and a multi-vitamin.

#155324 this thread just guilted me into going to the gym.

cardio is always good and i love a high protein diet, i eat tunes of tuna and protein shakes, i also found that the best way to get toned was weight training using your own body weight ex. push ups, chin ups and sit ups.

#155332 I eat 5-6 eggs, 1cp oat meal, 2 cans of albacore low sodium starkist tuna, 4-5 chicken breasts, cottage cheese and my protein shakes and much more everyday almost, Its nuts... for me anyway.

Just be careful what tuna you eat.. the albacore has less mercury in it than the chunk light tuna and it also has higher protein..it just costs more.

I'm going to keep up the hardcore eating and lifting this next week.. then I will run the next week on top of lifting to help lean me up.

I'm trying to gain so my calorie intake is high also. Last I weighed was 175 (I'm 5'11").... that was last month.. I need to get a scale.. or go to the inlaws to weigh myself again LOL.

My arms have got a little bigger and Definitely alot "harder".. I want to get a little bigger and then lean up.

#155490 i feel like a giant slacker i havent been running much .. the weather is not so warm and i havent gottn to the gyn for a few days :cry: .. hopefully this week will be better . i got a 8mile rt hike to a place called blanca lake planned for wednesday gonna be fun should be some snow up there so itll be a challenge for sure .. its well worth the hike tho ill post pics after i get back

d00d you can't NOT eat yo... even if your "to busy" or whatever.. it'll kill you off quicker than aids :P

But seriously.. start eating yo! And Kick boxing is awesome! I took a class right after i graduated High Scool.... I took Tai chi for 2 years during HS and kinda want to get back into that. That and I'd like to "try" yoga...
