- Tue Jul 13, 2010 9:01 pm #204442 when i got my z6 it came with a broken PSV, the part where u put the hose wasnt there. I needed to get my car smogged asap so what i did is i put a small screw then put the hose over it . the car passed smog but will this cause the motor to bog or not run right? Im not getting a CEL for it.

Just grab another one at the junkyard. Pretty much effortless and wont cost you anything. Better than the shame of having something ghetto rigged, right?

is that the stock motor? and if not what would it have been in so i can ask him.
