Well lets just say at first i was all full non-vtec so im keeping it that way but i was also thinking the best head for me to use would be the d16y7 but now im not so sure....
Yes i dont like the castings on the D15b7/2 and the a6 as it has that stupid moulding for that purch or what every it is....on the p.side near the dizzy kinda like where you would put a vtec solinoid but its rather a stupid non useful thing so i was looking at it today i could probaly cut that down and be happy with it.....
but now the real reason i am haveing a conflict of interests the Y7 cam is well rather small and you there really isnt much but regrinds out there on the market for it....however the d15b7/2 and the d16a6 is pretty much the same casting ive heard you could swap the a6 cam into the d15b2/7 head or seomthgin liek that and well theres a crx si with that engine in my local junk yard and im tempted to either take the head or the cam and some other things but mainly looking at installing the cam into my b2 head or getting an aftermarket cam etc....this head will be going on my z6 block which i am slowly working on so yea just wondering about that....
and i mean right now im a little apprehensive with the spark plug position i like how the y7/y7/z6wtc position is but looking at it now the flow would seam better out of the a6/b2/b7 heads any help would be greatly appreciated
along with any help in choosing the right cam more inf i know is needed but gotta get to work so i will post more info later but for now the answers to the head questions is really what im looking for
