#275063 But the sensor wires that touched were the Speed sensor, which idt would keep the car from starting. I was thinking of checking continuity at A23 and A24 of the ECU harness and terminal 2 of the main relay harness. They all ground at the thermostat housing. Which stems from the same loom as the speed sensor.

#275144 Well there is continuity on all grounds of the ECU and the #2 terminal on the main relay, so im stumped. Also continuity at the fuel pump so im stumped :?

Those wires spliced together behind my ECU still bother me, I might try another dash harness?

Any help?

#275188 I'm pretty sure I remember getting power. How would I check? I used the multimeter, put the ground to terminal 2 the red probe to terminal 5, which I think is the fuel pump and turned key to number position, I did check for the ground continuity too.

#275860 u should try the ignition fuse. its under the hood, should be a 50 amp fuse

same thing happened to me i was running my fan direct and some wire was loose and flew on the exhaust mani and caused a short car was still on and i for got to take it off so i pulled the wire that was burning and short out the car i didnt have any tools so called the tow truck got my car back home(thank god free towing with insurance) and it was a fuse.
